Little-Less-Than Dynamic Duo
This is something my buddy Shawn and I used to do in our spare time. Shawn on keys, me on bass. It was pretty fun. It went from mediocre to pretty good. There's actually a song missing here that we can't find entitled Sly Dogs... and it's a shame too, because that was a pretty good tune.
- Twaaang!
- ummmm... yeah, this was our first attempt at even playing together if I remember right, and we just kinda threw it on a 4-track recorder. Nothing great really, but funny. Shawn does some drum sounds on another track and it makes it sound... funny ha.
- Nightscape
- This was a pretty cool tune. Really mellow. We used an Alesis SR-16 for the drum track on this tune. I remember not knowing how to use the drum machine very well at this point. I had a beat playing, and on the fly just pushed some button that made fills. We recorded a ton of it, and our buddy Kyle was in town. We actually had him record a guitar track on this song. He did pretty good for only doing a second take... and he's not really a guitar player anyway either.
- Sarcophagus (Dewy-Doo)
- I'm not sure how this song came together, but it did eventually. It's pretty damn short, but kind of heavy. I like the distortion thing Shawn used on the keys. This is actually a programmed beat, then it goes into a pre-set beat at the end... IIRC. Not sure.
- Freedom (Generic version)
- A RATM cover :P Kyle was over, and we were trashed... had to be anyway. This is almost a waste of bandwidth, but I find it hilarious... especially if you know Kyle (he does the "vocals" on here). If you don't know him, well, yeah, this is probably a waste of bandwidth.
- Fire and Forget (incomplete)
- This was an awesome song that never reached 100% completion. At this point I had figured out how to program the SR-16 pretty well, so it really came together. It's stealthy.
